Disney Pirate Ship, Chicken of the Sea
Disneyland
Walt Disney Productions
Pirate Ship
Guests in Fantasyland enjoy visiting aboard the Pirate Ship as it lays at anchor in the cove at Skull Rock, a picturesque setting from the story of Peter Pan.
1971
This restaurant was here from 1955 to 1982, (although the name changed to Captain Hook’s Galley in 1969 when Chicken of the Sea dropped their sponsorship.)
Disneyland T-Shirts Order Form Advertising Postcard
This is an advertising postcard for shirts... the back reads:
Hi, there!
We've just been to Disneyland and had our pictures taken in the keen T-shirts we bought there. You know, up 'til now Disneyland was the only place you could buy them in the whole world but we've got swell news for kids everywhere: now you can order Disneyland T-shirts through the mail!
They're really neat - and mom says they're the finest quality combed cotton with full-color designs and the won't shrink. They come int two designs - "Castle" or "Shield," and in two size categories - 2 to 8 for $1 each and 10 to 14 for $1.25 each. You'll want to order several at this price. Mail your order today - with the coupon or separate letter.
Your's truly,
Susan and Bobby
P.S. Remember, stores don't sell these official Disneyland T-shirts. You can get them only at Disneyland or through the mail!
Fantasyland
The land of enchantment lies beyond the draw-bridge guarding the entrance to Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland. Beyond the Castle Fantasyland comes to life with gay rides in Disney fashion.
This was mailed - but I 'erased' the address before I posted the postcard - too bad it was folded in half!
I wish I could get official Disney t-shirts now for only a dollar and pay 25 cents for shipping and handling!!

Le Grand Courtyard
Gas lights, winding staircases, a bubbling fountain, and beautiful flowers set a quiet, peaceful mood in Le Grand Courtyard in Disneyland's New Orleans Square.

Dear mom,
We are having a real good time with only the 4 of us. I don't know who is more excited the big kids or the little kids. Both the boys are all eyes and smiles. They have added a lot of new things. There are very few people here so no waiting in line.
Love,
The Gang

The Aristocats is an American animated feature film produced and released by Walt Disney Productions in December 1970 and features the voices of Eva Gabor, Hermione Gingold, Phil Harris, Dean Clark, Sterling Holloway and Roddy Maude-Roxby. The 20th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series, the film revolves around a family of aristocratic cats, and how an alley cat acquaintance helps them after a butler has kidnapped them to gain his mistress' fortune which was intended to go to them.
The film is noted for being the last film project to be approved by Walt Disney himself, as he died in late 1966, before the film was released. It gained positive reviews on first release and was a box office success.
