Walt Disney once said, "All the characters Peter Pan are touched with magic."  This is particularly true of Tinker Bell, Peter''s feisty but ever-loyal pixie.  Now, the Walt Disney Classics Collection introduces Tinker Bell in beautifully hand-detailed porcelain, captured in a perfect moment of loutishness (brought on by Wendy, no doubt).  Her wings are plussed with opalescent points that seem to sparkle as if in flight.  Tinker Bell was one of Walt's favorites and is sure to be one of yours too!

Peter Pan's Flight is a suspended dark ride at the Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Park (Paris) theme parks. Located in Fantasyland, it is one of the few remaining attractions that was operational on Disneyland's opening day in 1955. The ride's story, music, staging and artwork are based on Walt Disney's Peter Pan, the animated film version of the classic Peter Pan story by J. M. Barrie.

This 3-D postcard had Tink on both sides of the postcard.  If you look closely, you can see where she would be if you tilt the card.

You write your message on the back, then remove the strips to reveal the glue and fold the message part in half.  (fold line is just to the left of the Tree of Life from Animal Kingdom) The address gets written on the other half of the card.

I love how Tinkerbell is carrying an ice cream bar that is as big as she is!

In 1940 on a world besieged by World War II, Wendy, now grown up, has two children, one of them is her daughter, Jane. She wears her trench coat during the air raid, and later that night, Wendy tries to give her own children hope by telling them of her magical experiences with Peter Pan in Never Land. However, Jane, Wendy's daughter, sees it all as make believe and refuses to believe in the tales. That is, until the villainous Captain Hook mistakes her for Wendy and abducts her to Never Land in an attempt to lure and capture Peter Pan. Peter Pan's quest to return Jane safely home is jeopardized until she can begin to believe in the magic of imagination.
