The Earful Tower is an icon used in Disney theme parks. The tower is based on water towers commonly found on Hollywood studio backlots of the first half of the 1900s, originally a safety measure to douse any fires on the film sets. The tower resembles the water tower found at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, with the exception of the Mickey Mouse ears. In the Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris, the tower is named the Earffel Tower (an obvious pun on the Eiffel Tower).

Fantasmic! is a Disney nighttime show at Disneyland in the Disneyland Resort, Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World and Tokyo DisneySea in Tokyo Disney Resort. The show features fireworks, live actors, water effects, fire, music, several boats, decorated rafts and projections onto large mist screens featuring reworked Disney Animation.

Built in front of The Great Movie Ride, The Sorcerer's Hat debuted on September 28, 2001 as part of the 100 Years of Magic celebration at Walt Disney World Resort. The structure was inspired by the Sorcerer's Apprentice segment in Walt Disney's 1940 animated film Fantasia.

The Great Movie Ride is a ride which takes guests through scenes from famous films throughout motion picture history. It is located inside a recreation of the famous Hollywood landmark Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

When the Disney-MGM Studios first opened to the public, this portion of the theme park was closed off and only accessible via the Backlot Tour. Disney subsequently decided to open it up to everyone and now you can walk down this made up street feature architecture from New York. From 2003-2004, this area was redone to show the skylines of Chicago and San Francisco although the New York portion is still retained (and largely the most represented city).

Muppet Vision 3D is an attraction found at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and at Disney California Adventure. The attraction opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios (then Disney-MGM Studios) as Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3D on May 16, 1991.

The show is a 3D film featuring Jim Henson's Muppets. Due to the use of Audio-Animatronics, a live full-bodied Muppet and other similar effects, the show is sometimes referred to as Muppet*Vision 4-D. It was directed by Henson and written by Bill Prady. The show is also notable for being the final Muppets project to be released for Henson, as the attraction opened after his death in 1990.

Star Tours is a motion simulator attraction. The ride is based on the successful Star Wars film series created by George Lucas, making it the first Disney attraction based on a non-Disney produced film.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, more commonly known as Tower of Terror, is a drop tower thrill ride at Disney. It is based upon the television show The Twilight Zone.

The attraction takes place in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel (itself inspired by the Hollywood Tower, named a historic landmark by the US Department of the Interior). The story of the hotel, adapted from elements of the television series, includes the hotel being struck by lightning on October 31, 1939, mysteriously transporting an elevator cart full of passengers to the Twilight Zone and causing an entire wing of the building to disappear. The exterior of the attraction resembles an old hotel with a blackened scorch mark across the front of the façade where the lightning struck it.

The Tower of Terror is 199 feet (60.7 m) high at Walt Disney World because of FAA regulations that require a fixed red light beacon to be added to the top of any 200-foot or taller building. Imagineers thought that the beacon would take away from the hotel's 1939 theme.
